Beta Terms and Privacy Notice
Effective July 27, 2026. This notice applies to the invitation-only, synthetic-data demonstration beta.
1. Synthetic information only
Do not enter the name, records, diagnosis, school, images, audio, video, contact information, or other identifying details of a real student. Use only the fictional student and fictional examples supplied in your private beta workspace.
2. Your private practice workspace
Each tester receives a separate copy of the synthetic showcase. Your changes must not alter another tester's copy or the source showcase. Killian may reset or remove the copy during or after the beta.
3. Account and access
Use only your own invitation and keep your password private. Do not share access, attempt to view another tester's workspace, bypass role limits, or use the service for unlawful or harmful activity.
4. Voice, meetings, and AI
Microphone, camera, transcription, and AI features process information when you enable or use them. Check the visible microphone and meeting indicators before speaking. During this beta, never discuss or capture information about a real student. AI output may be incomplete and must not replace professional, educational, medical, or legal judgment.
5. Feedback and beta records
Killian records task progress, feedback, technical events, and synthetic actions needed to evaluate the beta. Feedback may be retained after a sandbox is reset so the product team can resolve issues. Do not include real student information in feedback.
6. Beta limitations
This is evaluation software, not a production student record system. Features may change, reset, pause, or contain errors. This beta is not authorized for live IEP administration, official records, protected health information, or educational records governed by FERPA.
7. Provide feedback or leave the beta
Stop using the affected feature immediately. If you are signed in, use the Provide Feedback link shown throughout Killian. If you cannot sign in, reply to your personal beta invitation or contact the administrator who invited you. Use those same channels to request removal of your beta access.
